  1. The arrangement on this is amazing. His voice sounds confident? is that the word? no maybe not, hopeful. I think that is it, he really sounds hopeful.
    "...but clearly I was not ready."
    When he sings about his mother, ow that grips you.
    It is like the beauty you find in something dangerous but oddly attractive, the siren's song, a razor sharp knife, a tiger on the loose. Really i'm not ready.

  2. What I found ironic was that Vic called this his "break-up song" with death. It's a song I can identify with more than any other song he wrote.
